1. Composition

In order to get a song composed to your own lyrics it is necessary to send your lyrics, together with an existing popular song.

Note:
The lyrics should be either in Bulgarian or in English.

After we compose the song for you we will send it to you on a notation sheet with melody and harmony + an MP3 file. Should you have any comments or criticisms, please write to us. We will reflect your requirements and will send a revised version.

2. Arrangement

To get an arrangement made over a melody of your own, it is necessary to send us the record of an existing popular song , together with one of the items listed below:

•an MP3 file in which you play (sing with the lyrics) your melody

•a MIDI file – if it is a song, please send us together with the MIDI file a notation sheet containing the melody with the lyrics added beneath the stave

•A notation sheet containing the melody (and lyrics added to it, if any)

Note:
If you have harmonized the melody in chords they can serve as accompaniment during singing; you can send them to us in a MIDI file or you can add them to the notation sheet using the relevant chord symbols such as C, F, G7 and so on.

After we produce the arrangement for you, we will send it to you as a MIDI file, complete with the record and name of each of the instruments used + an MP3 file.

Should you have any comments or criticisms, please write to us. We will reflect your requirements and will send a revised version.

In case you are still not entirely happy with your arrangement, please contact us.

3. Adding/ Recording Instrument(s) ( Add-ons )

To help you with your project the SunnyStudio team offers you the following services:

•Arranging and recording instruments of your choice

•Replacing your sampled instruments with better instruments we have available or with a live performance by studio musicians

Even when your song needs an add-on and you find the choice of instrument(s) difficult or you experience any problems at all during song-making, you can trust us and send us all you have done so far, in MP3 format, together with your requirements or questions. In the next couple of days following receipt we will provide you with a reply offering you a solution to your problems.

3.1. Arranging and recording instruments of your choice

To do this we need you to send us your song in an MP3 file and instruct us on the following:

•what instrument you wish to include;

•what role should it have – solo, accompanying, countermelody, etc.

•where you wish it placed (starting and end point for the instrument’s involvement).

The easiest way to do this is to send us the measures of the song (from beginning to end) put down on a notation sheet where you mark the starting and end points for the instrument to be involved. To make our life easier you can add the lyrics beneath the stave, together with the chord symbols – C, F, G7, etc.

3.2. Replacing your sampled instruments with better instruments we have available or with a live performance by studio musicians

• To get a replacement of your sampled instruments with our own samples it is necessary to send us a MIDI file with the relevant instruments.
• To get a replacement of instruments with a live performance by studio musicians it is necessary to send a MIDI and/or an MP3 file.

To discuss your requirements and needs in more detail please write to us using contact information.

After we complete the material needed to implement your project we will send it to you.

Should you have any comments or criticisms, please write to us. We will reflect your requirements and will send you a revised version.

In case you are still not entirely happy with your material, please contact us.

The final file versions will be sent to you in Wav 48Hz /32bit format.

You can have them sent to you also in the following formats: 24bit, 16bit / 44.1kHz , AIFF, as well as in an MP3 format.

Note:
Please bear it in mind that if MP3 files are used you are compromising with the quality of the sound!

4. Existing popular song

Today there is a huge variety of musical styles and means of expression. Including acoustic or electronic instruments, it will be easier for us to deliver on your project if you send us, together with the material prepared, a record of an existing song in the same or similar style (in MP3 format) to help us get an idea of what it is you are looking for.

NOTA BENE!

After we finalise your song it will sound similar in terms of style and choice of instruments to the song you sent us already. At the same time, the song will be unique, the one and only.

If you find it difficult to identify such a song, please contact us and describe how you imagine your future project or just send us all you have done so far. We will familiarize ourselves with your ideas and will come back to you as soon as possible.
